This ultra-compact 4-section version of the 3444 folds down to just a shade over 19" and can fit most backpacks and bags.
Developed in response to requests from photographers who wanted a simpler, yet high quality, carbon fiber tripod at a more easily affordable price, the 3444D is one of two new models added to the popular CARBON ONE carbon fiber line.
With few exceptions; notably the horizontal/vertical, dual-position center column; carrying strap and built-in bubble level; the new 3444D offers all the innovative technology and features of the original CARBON ONE 440 and 441 models including:
- Unique, three faceted leg and center column tubes that eliminate unwanted rotation and increase torsional rigidity.
- Quick-action leg lever locks that instantly secure leg extensions firmly in place with no slippage or rotation.
- Proven pressure clamping technology that eliminates failure-prone glue joints for greater durability and in-the-field serviceability.
- Quick-action leg angle selector buttons that allow each leg to be set individually to any of three angles: 25?, 45?, or 65?.
- A built-in low angle adapter that allows ground level shooting without sacrificing center of gravity or stability.
